The 1000m2, over-sized, alcohol store that has been under construction for the past six months has finally opened its doors.

Yesterday at nine in the morning, Dan Murphy’s opened its doors to the public, ready for the barbecue season and just in time for Christmas.

Twenty-two staff have been employed to operate the store and with more than 4000 imported, local and crafted beverages on offer, they are sure to have their hands full.

The store’s manager Jeff Lord said they were expecting the store to be very busy, since opening and have plenty of Fathers Day specials on already.
